While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I found behind its entrance was appalling and beyond comprehension .
The Condition of the Premises : Squalid and Neglected Beyond Belief
From the moment I crossed the threshold, it was evident that sanitation was not a priority at this venue. The ground was covered in grime , and a foul smell of uncleaned spills and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire bar . Smelling a mixture of ammonia , old age and a sickly smell. The serving zone , which should be the focal point of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and debris that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The toilet was in even more deplorable shape — clogged , with a snapped lever and walls stained in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
